PHANTASIA SHOWCASE 2025

Project Overview

Phantasia is an immersive exhibition where digital technology and natural growth patterns merge to create a playful space for rediscovering creativity without the pressure of external validation. Opening with a showcase of emerging artists, the three-day experience guides visitors through themed rooms that mirror the organic stages of creative growth, inviting participants to explore and reconnect with their creative spirit at their own pace.

Key Message

Creativity is a journey of experimentation, not a destination - embrace the process of play, discovery, community and growth without letting setbacks define your creative identity. In this garden, there are no failed experiments - only fertile soil for future growth.

Problem statment

Creatives often abandon playful exploration due to fear of judgment and pressure for perfection, leading to creative blocks, self-doubt and burnout.

What can we do about that?

How might we create experiences that reveal and celebrate the messy reality of creative growth, helping people embrace experimentation and trust their artistic journey?"

Scope

Gallery Showcase Overview

Emerging and undiscovered creatives are invited to participate in a group exhibition curated by Rubiat Fusigboye. This showcase marks the inaugural iteration of Phantasia Interactive Exhibition, taking place at Its OK Studios in downtown Toronto. We seek works that explore the messy process of creative creation, celebrating experimentation and artistic growth. The exhibition aims to reveal the beauty in creative development, encouraging others to judge themselves less and explore more freely.
