Lets get Cranked
with Crank - lite lager
The project presented the opportunity to develop new branding and packaging for Crank Lite Lager, an emerging beer targeting young adult drinkers. After conducting demographic research and interviews, modern aesthetics were conceived that aligned with their brand position as an affordable, quality lager. A bold logo and can design were crafted to bring the Crank Lite Lager brand identity to life, appealing to the target demographic of recent grads and working professionals seeking an easy-drinking beer. This project showcased strategic design's power to define and launch a new brand experience.
Brand Design

Photos of the set
With inspiration from 2000s slashers, I created a movie poster that was in theme with the time period of the film. I was equipped with stills from the production and allowed creative liberty on the project. For the start of promotion I was tasked with making a very simple idea based Instagram post to get people excited about the concept of the film. Using information from the writers and script, I put together case files, missing persons posters and morgue reports.

Process
I was brought onto this film poster project early on and given creative freedom to develop the visual aesthetics and tone. The director provided me with invaluable insights into the movie's energy and character by allowing me to review footage from a rough cut of the film, read the script, and study production stills.
With this deep understanding, I drew inspiration from Stephen King novels and 1990s slasher films to inform the atmosphere and style of the poster. I crafted custom typography and illustrated the protagonist to align with the look and feel of the film.
The director requested that certain production stills be incorporated into the final design. With these key assets, I conceived an overall composition and visual direction that captured the eerie yet captivating spirit of the film.Throughout the process, the director and I collaborated closely to ensure the poster art authentically represented the movie's essence. Overall, being involved from the early stages and given creative trust was invaluable in crafting a poster true to the project's vision.
